THANK YOU BADDYKE...you are BADDDDD! LOVE IT! What a discussion....and embodying being Female, or in my case, a Butch DykeAmazon Female, hearkening back to the original 'jenda' defying Ancient Amazons, since they DARED to do things other Females weren't allowed to do, like use weapons, defend themselves, be the aggressive ones in a relationship, rather than passive, lead as Queens over cities, or lead in a military campaign, worship Female dieties, all the rest of the autonomous things they did and set examples to the rest of us that Female goes so much further, and can be so much greater than what male dominated societies allows or disallows Females from doing...because embodying Femaleness in all stripes and forms, is of the Mind, the Body and the Spirit..and it is THAT that I crave. Whether you consider me an 'essentialist' or not, I do not give a hoot....because there IS a Sacred Energy I continually feel in the presence of strong, powerful Females, and especially Dykes, but not exclusively, in born FEMALE space, that I NEVER feel in mixed space, and that includes when even one born male crashes that space, which includes MTF's.....

Call it a biomorphegenic Female Field of Power, call it an Amazon City, Town, Circle or Nation, call it a Circle of Witches honoring Goddess, call it Lesbians honoring one another, call it Female mysteries and secrets...any and ALL of these things when women claim their true physical, mental and spiritual power, NO MTF will EVER understand or be able to embody it. It has nothing to do with 'femininity', it has to do with the embodied Female IN her body AS a Female, from birth. Both nature and nurture....and sadly, FTM's want to walk away from that, or have NEVER found this empowered secret in Female only space, where one's heart opens, as mine did when I first came out...when I first went to my first Women's and Lesbian ritual circles, when I first went to Michfest and other womyn's lands....

So MANY have NEVER BEEN in truly Female only groups/events because nowadays everything has been queerified..and I'm not talking femmy coffee clatches like straight women do, but the deep deep diversity of womonhood I found especially at Michfest, from high femme in boots and corsets, body paint or naked and feather boas, to very hardcore hirsute Butches that almost passed as male, but with true powerful Female DykeAmazon souls...the protectors of womyn, the truly invisible Dykes, invisible womyn, but the ones who can watch out for us as well..who only could FULLY express themselves in the company of women. It is these Butches that are now under attack by transapologists who tell them shit like "You'd be a good candidate for transition", threatening to take away their Female Souls...cuz if it's not 'biological determinism', who wages war continually for testosterone fueled aggression and profit, and who leads the Peace Marches? It goes right down sex lines...

This does NOT mean Females should be denied ANY trade, any opportunity, from working in construction, to going out into space, but that we bring a humanity, a caring to an environment, a socialization that men do not....and we look down the road to how that will affect others, that compassion, that cooperation..instead of the typical competitive male dominanted violent world we live in..so toxified we cannot even acknowledge the differences and what women could bring to this world if we TRULY loved ourselves in all our glory, however we present, and if we were truly, truly unified...that NO young woman who doesn't feel she 'fits in' would feel ANY pressure to take hormones, have surgeries or the rest, or 'pass' as male for safety, for opportunities, for empowerment, or to be seen as acceptable. That ALL opportunities would be available to her, should she want them. We ARE different, and yet we ARE also fully capable at the same time. Because we are beings that embody our sex, our hormones, our brains all in one, in mind, body and spirit...and it is NOT something that can be bought and sold at the pharmacy or the medical table.

And to 'get' that sex is actually completely a different thing from sex role conditioning and expectation, THAT is the true 'binary'...which is what limits us in all our powers.

There was a time when I opened my space to Amazon Gatherings. Many sisters came to these gatherings who were not declared Amazons, but who were curious friends of Amazons ... some just came to gather ... to eat, drink and be merry. Good women ... free women ... Goddess-Loving women ... You know who you are! Mama, Auntie Joan, Auntie Wanda, Carolyn, Kini, Marione, Charlotte and too many others are no longer physically with us ...! Only a few sisters remain ...but, many daughters and daughters of daughters are out there needing the invitation and validation of an Amazon Gathering. And, I genuinely suspect they know who they are ... at least on some level.

Have you ever lived completely alone? Have you ever been complletely responsible for your own food, clothing and shelter ... for your own safety? Have you ever identified your fears ... fears revealed only to you ... viewable only to your own eyes in the dark mirror? Have you ever walked the dark? Have you ever experienced physical combat ... fought in self-defense? Are you faithful to yourself? Are you an Amazon? Have you ever been aided by an Amazon?

What is an Amazon? Who is an Amazon? Lets take a quick look at Nature and identify some creatures we can agree are examples of the Amazon path. See if you agree. I suggest that Bees, Sea Gulls, SeaHorse, Anemonies, Elephants, Hyenas, Spiders ... most trees and plants ... a vast amount of nature in general. Most of Nature is faithful to HERself.

I'd like to go on record to say ... here and now ... I do not deny the Gods, nor any other navel-less deity. I very simply do not relate well to them except through the Goddess. I have a Navel and I honor that connectedness first, last and always. It is engraved upon my spirit that I was once wholly dependent upon a Mother ... the navel is my enduring physical proof. ( And, so is Gravity!) So, as long as I am of this Earth, the Goddess is my Queen and I am Her worker-Bee, Her stinging warrior or whatever She needs me to be. Very few jobs require a penis or pollen!

Everytime I see the face ... or hear the name ... of one of our so-called leaders ... regardless of where I am ... I send a stinging dart of truth to them ... hoping ... they'll become transparent enough for me to find a seed of trust in them for me to nurture with love and respect. If I only knew how, I'd encase them in an eggshell until they matured into truthful, loving, friendly-to-this planet .. human beings. I'd render them to so friendly to women and all life on this planet that no woman would ever have to lock a window or door again, nor any critter need to flee to the safety of shadows in fear. If I were really ... really ... powerful, I'd disappear Patriarchy from this planet! There is probably a good reason I am not that powerful ... yet. I do not have all the answers ... nor do I understand all the answers that are offered ... and, neither do you!

As Amazon Crone ... I believe we need to brainstorm ... to go beyond personal rituals ... and find agreements among us. What do we want? for our sisters? our species? our planet including all the life forms upon Her??? How can we in simple everyday practice, habit or ritual begin to accomplish the feat of becoming that which we wish to see? Clean air, water, energy, agriculture ... CLEAN everything! Contaminates gone! No more pollution whether in the form of lies, violence, fear-producing words or activities ... or merely the removal of inappropriately applied poisons to our environment. Mama always said that if you want something done you must get up and do it yourself. Since I do not know how to do this all by myself ... yet ... I am willing to blend my energy with others to the extent that I can ... so long as we share a common vision. How many New World Eggs does it take? What concepts or ingriedients ... wants or wishes ... hopes or dreams ... must be included in our New World Eggs? Visions? Is Revolution a requirement for the hatching of our Egg(s)??? I've so many questions and so few tangible solutions ... magically or otherwise.

I don't know about you, but I suspect you are as sick and tired as I am of cleaning up messes ... messes I didn't even knowingly contribute to ... messes I've spent the better part of 70 plus years of personal energy attempting to clean up one way or another ... whether it be child abuse, domestic violence, rape, a woman's choice, our water, our air ... and so on and on and on ...! I want heedless behaviors that are contradictory to healthy LIFE as we know it stopped! NOW! Well ... that is what I want. I think it may well be what we NEED as well to sustain our species. I do NOT, however, KNOW! Could we have a virtual gathering? Is that even possible? Could we plug our individual energy and knowledge into such a gathering or not? Or, would it even be worthwhile? Oh well, just my thoughts for the day!

I'm proud to be a Dyke Amazon Warrior/Amazon Witch, and a lifelong martial artist. I combined all these aspects of me to define my spirituality and the spiritual mysteries I teach as an Amazon Warrior/Amazon Witch/Amazon Priestess....I believe the ancient Amazons were the last defenders of the Matriarchy, those peaceloving cultures of the Mother that were being badly trounced by some of the more patriarchal Greek, Roman and other cultures....
As in the martial arts, when I see that energy in the Sacred Female, at least the dieties I personally work with, it is always and primarily IN DEFENSE, and Self-Defense, not in aggression and conquering of other peoples and other ways of being, but protecting ourselves as womyn, our Sacred Mysteries and our Sacred places and Female spaces.....
I have never been a pacifist, but neither do I support warmongering either and the support of constant warmaking. This is PRECISELY WHY I'm into Goddess worship and ultimately worship the Goddess of 10,000 Names as She comes in many forms and temperaments, connecting with those that fit for me and that I need in my life and connect best with. The whole concept of a matriarchal peaceloving culture like Catal Huyuk lasting 1000 years without war is amazing to me...and what I long for. But as a Butch Dyke, just to survive, I need to be an AmazonWarrior, a Warrior for women and myself as the type of woman I am, just to survive in a world that would just extinguish my kind.
The other side of me is Amazon Priestess, where I serve Her and Her beautiful Planet and womyn and She guides and moves through me...these are deep deep vows I have taken being on this Path of Goddess worship for 30 years, ever since the Dyke Witches brought me out in 1981!

As usual the same suspects saying the same things we've always been saying, and the trans and transapologists saying the same damn things they've been saying shaming us for guarding our Amazonian territory and our Amazonian womon born womon space. What, do we take swords to defend the matter? and yet we're using the keystroke AS our swords/Labryises.

The trans have Cybele, the Goddess they worshipped to give permission to remove their members in ecstasy and to live the rest of their lives out as either eunuchs or 'females'. I'm sorry, but feminininty, that line of lies DOES NOT equal Female. So no matter how 'feminine' you are, DOES NOT make you Female. Any self respecting Female centered Butch NOT trying to 'pass' as male(except for safety on the street late at night), but in her daily way, is more female than ANY feminine MTF. Femininity, along with masculinity are social constructs. Biological Females and males can fall anywhere within that construct, and do, according to their personal proclivities, upbringing, tastes, and rewards. I was Butch/tomboy from a very young age, and I was never 'feminine' enough, always too 'mannish', too 'masculine', and thus censored by family, those in school, coworkers and bosses, and the rest of the world for that lack of conformity, BUT I was still FEMALE nonetheless...even if at times I hated being so, because of the stereotyping of 'acceptable' roles left open for females, and NONE that catered to my Butch/young tomboyish sensibilities. I distinctly DID NOT want a dallywhacker, a penis between my legs..I WANTED EQUAL POWER AND OPPORTUNITY!

However, the trans movement has nothing to do with a 'gender binary' or even with that meaningless word, 'gender'. In fact, it is a conservative movement, which is why the Iranians will pay for sex reassignment surgery to halt homosexuality, which is punishable by death. Some Fundamentalist Christians insist on the same, even if unlike Iran and other Arab Moslem countries, cannot enforce it. They also expect their women to be feminine and their girls in dresses...cuz they may turn out to be a Dyke, if they get to express their tomboy/Butchy natures! Some will be, some won't.

The trans movement is all about gender conformity...that is, if you fail to fit one sex, that is, too masculine as a female, too dykey, too much of a womonlover, and too Butch/Macha/Amazonian/boyish ect. then you MUST belong to the other..and there you are with all the cheerleaders to go get some hormones and some "T", to dress more hetero male to 'pass' which means nothing more than falsifying one's history/herstory, and eventually to have one surgery or another, mostly the breast removal surgery, since the genitally mutilating penis implantation surgery is dangerous, unreliable and destructive, and really doesn't work. Wow, I saw a film on it, and it is INDEED genital mutilation for the sake of false parts. As bad as any genital mutilation done to Female bodies across the world for an ideology, a religion, ect.

So, the trans movement leaves maimed bodies without full sexual sensation as a result in it's wake. The same goes for the MTF surgeries as well, though the doctors have bragged they've nearly perfected that one....not nearly enough in our Dykely opinion..it's still window dressing that will NEVER replace the multi-orgasmic capabilities that bio female women have. EVER. Or the mystery of bleeding the Sacred MoonBlood, or the hope/fear of impregnation, ability to choose to give birth, or not....one cannot replace the womb with the prostate.

So, you want what you can't have, the male born, and the wanna be male..this is the essence of MALE privilege..not 'doing in Rome as the Romans do', that is, asking the native inhabitants of women only and born female space whether it's o.k. to join in, or not, it is IMPOSING OF YOUR MALE WILLS upon us....all the 2000 plus years of privilege, even hearkening back to the time of Cybele when the de-membered began to take the place of bio females in the temples, the eunuch priests began to gain ascendancy and power over the powerful Female Priestesses, to what we have today. Men in frocks and robes telling women not to have abortions, not to allow Lesbians to marry, or homosexuality at all..while they have their boys in the background. And I mean, boys, not men...those pedophile priests, whose sexuality has been so repressed because of religion and it has twisted them and made them cruel and mean and destructive...like the black frocks, the Dominicans that have done all too many cruelties on women and native peoples, and homosexual folks. Forced eunuchism, not from surgeries, but from religious vows that are completely against human instinct.

The trans movement inherits much of that, maybe not the whole anti-sex thing, but the whole trying to be something you are not....instead of resolving the differences between one's self-expression and a society that only allows us to live in a small set of parameters, and invisibilizes those who don't. So, those who can't 'make it' as men, must be women....and instead of being a 3rd or 4th sex, and regalling in your OWN history around that, you coopt ours...you coopt Dyke space, Dyke herstory, Dyke lives, Dyke sexuality, all of it....and crash our boundaries over and over again, proving to us the pricks you REALLY ARE....but with a feminine facade. OR an overly masculized facade. Yes, I went to an event in the Twilight Zone, andthe first to greet me at a party, was a full transition body hair, scratchy hormone induced voice FTM. Not a hairy Butch with a deep voice, but a full transition FTM. I was so turned off and I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

For the MTF's like Brenda et. al who think they're pulling a fast one on us...I can recognize 95% of the time when I see an MTF..if not by appearance by energy, but I'll figure it out eventually.....often right away..YOU ARE NOT FOOLING US.

We are the Amazons defending OUR territory, as we did in the ancient past, the last of the Matriarchs to defend the ancient Matriarchies and worship of the Goddess....and we are STILL defending our territory, as womyn, as womyn loving womyn, as Butches, Femmes, inbetweens and all the rest, who are Dykes, Lesbians and DykeAmazon Witches and Warriors who say "NO!" and stand up to this very patriarchal silencing of us.

I'm no longer LGBT...I'm just the L or just the D(as in LEsbian, as in Dyke)....the rest mean nothing to me....

It IS an identity, call it XX and it's existed at least for 120,000 years, back to the first bio female who bled the menstrual blood. Should we stand in all our armour and gauntlets with labryises in hand enforcing the boundaries like our ancient Amazons had the guts to do, defending their territories and sisters? These days the pen or the keyboard is mightier than the sword...but nonetheless we have our Labryises tattooed on our flesh and WE KNOW those womyn's mysteries that draws us to bio-female space and Dyke space honoring us in ALL our Amazonian powers of which Michfest is but one womanifestation...the largest one, the Crown Jewel of Lesbian/Amazon/DykeAmazon Nation.....our Dyke Marches have been infiltrated in the Cities, our clubs, our groups, and most of our Lesbian environments and businesses have been shut down or closed or altered so obviously by those wearing male parts or displaying male parts(breastless hairy chests, arms, ect and scratchy testosterone hormone induced voices and attitudes, or the mincing faux femininity of the male born who really have NO CLUE what bio-females go through on a worldwide basis, but still working hard on coopting our identities as women, as Dykes, as Lesbians), that some of us are those DykeAmazons Butch and Femme and otherwise alike who stand strong that THIS IS OUR TRIBE, OUR IDENTITY, and we have as much right to it as any other Nation or Nation State or Tribe or People...and the others continue to coopt and silence us!

Michfest is no longer the ONLY place calling it as it is, and how much the trans movement is so male identified and actively lies about it's agenda as well as being incredibly anti-Lesbian and anti-Feminist, and I'm not talking a p.c. line here, cuz I'm not p.c myself, but I AM talking a strong Dyke line connected with the empowerment of bio-females throughout the world...and especially for Dykes, Butches, Femmes and others....STOP coopting us, and STOP SILENCING us....we're tired of your destructiveness to our communities, our spaces, our places, and the destruction of our very women, convincing them instead they gotta be 'male' because they dont' 'fit in' to some heterosexual rule of what a female can be.....just because you want to mutilate YOUR OWN body.

I don't agree with all of what Mary Daly espoused, but much of it. In some ways she's a kindred spirit. There are things she wouldn't agree with me in regards to my personal choices, and others we may come to some agreement on..and her book Gyn/Ecology certainly woke me up. I realized she is both a Witch and an Amazon Warrior, as I am, both of us in our ways..intensely questioning the male centeredness of patriarchal religion, even amongst those who try to reform it.

As far as MTF's and FTM's, both weaken Lesbians as a whole, and women in particular. MTF's would make their needs primary before any bio woman alive. To me, they're still bio-males, maybe not benefitting any longer from male privilege, but still with the assumption of male thinking in their minds, bodies and spirits, no matter HOW surgically or hormonally altered. They never had a girlhood and all the attendant and difficult problems we faced as girls. As far as FTM's go, MANY Lesbians, and I'm sure if Mary Daly were aware of the current trends, would heartily mourn so many butch and boyish Lesbian types wanting to chop off their breasts, take hormones and consider themselves male, that literally the patriarchy took hold in their own bodies, minds and spirits.

Some of us no longer believe the lies of the trans movement, it's clouding the issues, it's anti-feminism, it's lesbian hatred, and it's diminishment of women's issues and lives, to merely 'gender' issues, that we can put on and take off 'gender' like so many clothes, or surgeries or hormones. That indeed the 'cure' for our problem(female oppression living in an intensely patriarchal and bio female and lesbian hating world)is to transition to male..and then we'd be 'cured of our problem. So many have been convinced of this in so many ways.

So for all the 'liberation' you claim by conforming to gender roles by altering your bodies, and going on hormones and surgeries, by having to kowtow to doctors both psychological and medical to get at these hormones and surgeries, is furthering the oppression in so many ways, not liberating us from it!

Like myself, Mary Daly questioned questioned, questioned women and Lesbians' status in intensely spiritually, religiously, politically and socially patriarchal societies throughout the world, which neither want women free or even more so, Lesbians free. Better to transition to male and 'pass' as male, married to a woman, than be homosexual. Same for the MTF's...pressure in Iranian and other Arabic/Islamic societies to transition to the opposite sex for the 'cure' to homosexuality.

Separatism for better or worse, is the ONLY movement that continues to solely advocate for the empowerment of Lesbians in particular and women as a whole, by literally unplugging from patriarchy every way a Dyke and a woman can...spiritually, sexually, emotionally, and as much as possible physically.

She saw into the Background, another place for us Wildwomyn, us Witches, us AmazonDykes to go by and for our OWN agency, questioning the patriarchy that destroys so many FEMALE minds, bodies and spirits...and even threatens to destroy the very planet Herself!
